Vijayawada: Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that if the TD comes to power the state bifurcation issue would be resolved within six months.
Naidu’s Atma Gourava Yatra entered Krishna district on Friday night.
Addressing a public meeting at Kaleswara Rao market Naidu repeatedly praised TD founder N.T. Rama Rao. He said that the Telugu people lost credibility during the Congress regime and that the youth are expressing their anger against the Congress for the present chaos in Seemandhra region.
He said the Centre is disregarding the sentiments of crores of people protesting against the bifurcation of the state.
Training his guns on the Prime Minister, he said a PM who fails to protect his files cannot protect the country.
He said that while Rahul Gandhi is eyeing the Prime Minister’s post, Jagan is eyeing the CM post while languishing in jail.
Naidu said that if the TD comes to power, it would protect the interests of Seemandhra people in Hyderabad.
He condemned Telangana leaders for threatening Seemandhra people.
