Hollywood star George Clooney got reported to police after he was pictured driving a water taxi in Venice. The 52-year-old 'The Descendants' star, who attended the Venice Film Festival for the promotion of his new movie 'Gravity' with co-star Sandra Bullock, got photographed for steering a water vehicle, reported E! online.
A local lawyer Mario D'Elia sent a letter to police after seeing the picture. In the letter, he wrote that the actor would need a nautical license and permit to drive a water taxi. He also asked the cops to check Clooney's credentials.
“I asked the authorities to go to the Hotel Cipriani to see if Clooney has a nautical license," D'Elia said.
However, the actor was not perturbed with the incident, rather he laughed it off. “Other than getting lost in space (in his new movie), turning in Venice by boat is one of the most difficult situations I faced," Clooney said.
