Actor Babu Antony is every bit a family man, totally devoted to his wife Evgeniya and sons Arthur and Alex. Talking about the joys of fatherhood, he says, “I make sure that I have a friendly relationship with my kids but, of course, with restrictions as they are still young and need to be guided."
Babu says that he gives his sons freedom and tries to spend as much time as possible with them whenever he is free. “I make sure that I accompany them to play their sports. I am also imparting martial arts training to them, while my wife chips in with training in music."
Talking about his own relationship with his father, Babu says, “I shared a great relationship with my father and I slept beside him till I was nine." He says with a grin, “Arthur, my eldest is eight and still sleeps beside me, much against my wife's wishes!"

Actor Indrajith Sukumaran and his family have always been in the limelight for the right reasons. While the actor is busy in Mollywood, his wife Poornima makes her presence felt on television. Indrajith says that their two beautiful daughters, eightyear-old Prarthana and four-year-old Nakshatra, are never given a chance to miss their parents. “Though work keeps us both busy, one of us is always there when they need us,” says Indrajith.
Mollywood’s most sought after actor remembers how his father, late actor Sukumaran, used to be a supercool dad! “Our father used to be strict with me and Prithviraj. He knew where to draw the line while giving us all the freedom,” he stresses. “Kids must not be suppressed. As a parent, I will guide them on what is right and wrong. But the final decision will always be theirs,” adds Indrajith. Family comes first for Indrajith, “My kids know how much I love them, and that is what matters!” smiles Indrajith.

Actor Manoj K. Jayan talks about his relationship with his father and says, “My father was a very respected and serious Carnatic musician. As most of his concerts were in Chennai, he came home only once in three months and that was a time of celebration, when we went to movies and visit places. So to me he was always someone to be viewed with reverence. I was closer to my mother and Kochachan and whenever I had to ask my father for anything, I always sought help from my Kochachan. But with my daughter it is very different."
Talking about his relation with his daughter Tejalakshmi (Kunjatta) he says, “We share a very close bond. I know how important my presence at home is for my child and so I prefer to go for shoots within Kochi as much as possible so that I can get back home to my family . For us, it's father's and daughter's day every day!"

With star parents Sathar and Jayabharathi, youngster Krish Sathar certainly has it in his genes to be a star. On the occasion of Father's Day, he talks about the relationship he shares with his father. Krish says, “We are more like buddies than father and son! I share a very comfortable relationship with my father, in that, I can talk to him about anything under the sun, and he gives me the freedom to pursue whatever I want to do."
Krish also opines, “It certainly is good to celebrate a day dedicated to one's parents. But one does not need one particular day to celebrate with your parents. Each day, at least five minutes of your time should be kept aside exclusively for them."
Talking of the passions that he has imbibed from his father, Krish points out, “Travelling and a love for history and historical sites." Adding, “I am calm and collected even under duress, a quality I have inherited from my father! I believe in taking things in my stride and taking it calmly and it works. It may take two days more but nevertheless, definitely works!"
