DC | S.N.C.N. Acharyulu | 26th May 2013
N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.

HyderabadChief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, reacting to the criticism on Amma Hastham scheme, said the government will rectify all the lapses within a month. Speaking to the media on Saturday at his camp office, the CM said that for any new scheme, there will be problems in the beginning. In Amma Hastham scheme also, there may be problems at the ground level, in implementation.

The CM said that if any Opposition party makes constructive criticism, he is ready to rectify, but if they criticise for political mileage it is not good, negative campaign on a welfare scheme is bad for any political party, the Chief Minister said. In the Amma Hastam scheme 2.25 crore people will be  benefiting. Apart from Rs 1 Kg rice, nine essential commodities are being supplied to 2.25 crore beneficiaries, he said. In a month the scheme will be implemented without any lapses, he clarified.

The Chief Minister told that the Government gave an order of Rs 400 crore worth to the APCCO to benefit the handloom weavers.
