There is a proposal to set up an Agro and Food Processing Industrial Park in Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh, which is one of the industrially backward areas of Telangana Region.   M/s. M/s. Smart Agro Industries Corporation Pvt. Ltd., is promoted by a Group of NRI Entrepreneurs, living in the USA and hailing from Telangana Region.  The proposed project envisages setting up of food, agro-processing and related industries and thereby add value to the local agricultural inputs, which has been the missing link for the local industry to compete and thrive in the regional and national markets.

Government of Andhra Pradesh has been proactively assisting/facilitating the project and has accordingly provided about 370 acres of land in Nandipet Mandal of the district.
