Shahrukh Khan’s 2007 B’town blockbuster 'Om Shanthi Om' is now our Kollywood hero Srikanth’s upcoming movie’s title.
After 'Paagan' brought accolades for his good performance, Srikanth seems to be particular about picking up good scripts.
Apparently, when Suryaprakash, a former assistant to ace filmmaker Rajesh, narrated a full length commercial comedy caper akin to his mentor’s, Srikanth gave his nod immediately.
“How the lead protagonist’s helping nature lands him in troubles and causes hurdles in his love life and how he smartly comes out of it forms the crux,” says the director.
Tollywood actress Neelam debuts in Tamil as Srikanth’s love interest. The movie has been shot extensively in and around Trichy. Noted Malayalam comedy actor Baiju plays a crucial character. Vijay Ebenezer of Kalakalappu fame does the music.
