Pandiraj’s next Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga is all set to make it to theaters on March 29. Featuring an ensemble cast of Vimal, Sivakarthikeyan, Bindhu Madhavi, Regina, Suri and Sujatha, the film set in the backdrop of Trichy Ponmalai Railway Station, is touted to be a laugh riot.
“There’s no truth in the rumour that I had a difference of opinion with Yuvan and that the movie got delayed because of that! Since school and college vacation starts from the first week of April, the makers of the movie feel that releasing it on end of March would be apt,” reasoned out the national award-winning director. Ponmalai station itself is a character in the movie around which the story is woven, he explains.
While Vimal and Sivakarthikeyan play Billa and Ranga, Bindhu is paired opposite to the former and Regina who is back to Tamil after a long hiatus teams up with the latter.
Regina essays a bubbly girl who works in a Xerox shop and inside sources say that Bindhu has attempted few action sequences without a substitute in a role of a daring girl.
Yuvan Shankar Raja’s compositions, which is said to be a highpoint of the movie, are have already topped the charts. The film will be released by Gnanavelraja of Studio Green.
