Hyderabad: Students in city schools are set to become the face of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project. The L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd, which is developing the Metro Rail, has tied up with city schools to select students as ‘brand ambassadors’ to campaign for the project.
The idea is to create awareness among students about the metro rail and taking it closer to students by the image of a ‘people’s project’. Schools can nominate five students for each category (solo singing, solo dancing and in extempore), who will be shortlisted by eminent jurists. Selected students will be featured in the hoardings to be set up in prime locations across the city.
“Students from Classes VI to X from all the recognised private, CBSE, ICSE, and government schools can take part in the competitions,” S. Sreenivas Reddy, general secretary, AP recognised schools managements association said. The due date for submission of registration forms is February 4.
